Notable Interoperability Concerns

X8.7.n (and earlier versions) of Cisco VCS are not interoperable with Cisco Unified Communications Manager IM and 
Presence Service 11.5(1).

This is caused by a deliberate change in that version of IM and Presence Service, and there is a corresponding 
change in Cisco VCS X8.8.

To ensure continuous interoperability, you must upgrade your Cisco VCS systems to X8.8 before you upgrade your 
IM and Presence Service systems to 11.5(1).

The symptom of the issue is an error on Cisco VCS as follows:

Failed Unable to Communicate with <IM&P node address>. AXL query HTTP error "'HTTPError:500'"
