Cisco VCS Compliance Hold Release Process
Presently, all Virtual Cisco VCS orders are placed on Compliance Hold and are fulfilled manually. The hold is required
due to the fact that Cisco VCS virtual applications are activated and fulfilled differently than Cisco’s application
fulfilment operations are designed to support. Cisco is working to resolve this issue by creating a self-service portal
that will allow the end customer to fulfil virtual VCS delivery themselves. This portal is expected to be completed and
available in Q3 CY2013, at which point Virtual Cisco VCS will no longer be placed on Compliance Hold.

In the interim, to expedite the fulfilment of the order, follow the below process. A serial number of the VM is
required. This can be found after you download and boot up the virtual version of VCS.
