This document is a statement of volatility (SOV) for Cisco UCS hardware. This SOV includes 
information for the following platforms:

The Cisco UCS C-Series rack-mount servers have multiple serial, electrically erasable, and 
programmable nonvolatile memory components (EEPROM and flash memory) that are used to store 
manufacturing hardware identification and hardware configuration information. The majority of serial 
EEPROMs and flash memories are not written by users and contain no customer information. 

Procedures for clearing the few flash devices that can retain customer data are included in this section:
