The Cisco Cius

mobile collaboration endpoint (Figure 1) is an Android-based platform built for business. Cius

designed to help organizations capitalize on the mobile, social, visual, and virtual needs of businesses today in the

post-PC era by enabling anywhere, anytime access to secure business-critical communications, collaboration, and

computing features from a single ultraportable device.

The main attributes of Cisco Cius include:

Seven-inch design built to bring mobility to the business with a choice of wired Gigabit Ethernet connectivity

through an optional high-definition (HD) media station, and IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity.

Support for Cisco Unified Communications features, devices, and applications management and security

policies from Cisco Unified Communications Manager 7.1.5, 8.0.3 or 8.5.1 and later with system releases

●

A contacts-led user experience that provides multimodal, single-view access to communications and

collaboration features, through a Quick Contact Badge, offering you flexibility in your choice of collaboration

methods

●

HD video (H.264/AVC, 720p [1280 x 720] @ 30 frames per second [fps]) front- and rear-facing video

cameras and interoperability with Cisco and third-party H.264 video endpoints including Cisco

TelePresence
