QoS: Percentage-Based Shaping
First Published: 12.2(13)T
Last Updated: November, 2006
Last Updated: November, 2006
The QoS: Percentage-Based Shaping feature allows you to configure traffic policing and traffic shaping
on the basis of a percentage of bandwidth available on the interface. This feature also allows you to
specify the committed (conform) burst (bc) size and the excess (peak) burst (be) size (used for
configuring traffic shaping) in milliseconds (ms). Configuring traffic shaping in this manner enables you
to use the same policy map for multiple interfaces with differing amounts of bandwidth.
