Ensure that enable network−access control using is checked.

Select Smart Card or Other Certificate for EAP type.

Click Properties.

Select the Use certificate on this computer option.

Check the Use simple certificate selection check box.

Check the box for the CA under Trusted root certificate.

There is currently no verification procedure available for this configuration.
Troubleshoot
Error: Problem with the Certificate while connecting to WLAN
This error appears on the wireless client.
The server <Authentication server> presented a valid certificate issued
by <CA name>, but <CA name> is not configured as a valid trust anchor
for this profile.
Solution
In order to resolve this issue, you can export the root certificate of the CA that issued the certificate to the
authentication server to a file. Copy the file to the wireless client and then run this command from an elevated
Command Prompt.
certutil −enterprise −addstore NTAuth CA_CertFilename.cer
