Cisco Aironet 1130AG and Aironet 1130G Series
The Cisco
®
Aironet
®
1130AG Series Access Point is an IEEE 802.11a/b/g fixed-configuration, dual-band
access point. Built in to the access point are two radios, each with diversity antennas that provide
omnidirectional coverage. The Cisco Aironet 1130G Series Access Point provides single-band 802.11g
wireless connectivity. Both series are designed for wireless LAN coverage in offices and similar RF
environments.
The Cisco Aironet 1130AG and Aironet 1130G support local power as well as Power over Ethernet (PoE), either by
an IEEE 802.3af-compliant Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) device, such as a switch, or by a device capable of
providing 12.95W to a powered device and compliant with Cisco Inline Power. Both the Cisco Aironet 1130AG and
Aironet 1130G include a console port for management.
The Cisco Aironet 1130AG and Aironet 1130G ship with the following:

The power supply and power cord also ship with the access point unless you chose not to receive these items when
you placed your order. Refer to the section “Power Supply”.

The Cisco Aironet 1130AG and Aironet 1130G can be ordered with Cisco IOS Software to operate as an autonomous access
point or with LWAPP. When the Cisco Aironet 1130AG or Aironet 1130G are operating as lightweight access points, a wireless
LAN (WLAN) controller is required.
