Creating Cisco UCS Manager Targets
Before you can create or run processes on your Cisco UCS Manager instances, you must create the
targets on which the processes will run. You use the Connection tab on the New Cisco UCS Manager

Use the Definitions—Targets view to create the Cisco UCS Manager targets.
Step 1
In the Definitions view, right-click Targets and choose New > Cisco UCS Manager from the submenus.
The New Cisco UCS Manager Properties dialog box displays.

Step 2
On the General tab, enter the following general information about the target:

Description
Display name
Name of the target that displays in the Targets pane.
Type
Display only. Type of target.
Owner
User name of the owner of the target. This is typically the
person who created the target.
