Configure A/V Content, Continued
Playing Out A/V Content
To play out A/V content, complete the following steps.
1.
Transfer the A/V content file to the to the /media1/tsmux directory on either
the TSBroadcaster or TSPlayer machine, if separate.
2.
Edit the /media1/tsmux/tsmuxparams file to include the A/V content file in
the list of inputs that the TSMux will process. Specify the following:
•
•
The location of the file
•
A list of elementary streams to be excluded from the file, referenced by
their PIDs. This information allows you to remove redundant SI and other
content from the file as it is played out
•
A list of elementary streams to be re-mapped from the PIDs that are in the
file to the PIDs that are in the output. This information allows you to
avoid PID clashes between the various inputs if you have A/V files with
standard PID allocations
3.
After making the changes, re-start the machine to allow the changes to be
picked up.
