Installing/Removing the Modules, Continued 

1.  Remove the fiber connector from the front panel of the module, and cover the 

fiber and module connector with dust caps immediately. 

2.  Loosen the mounting screws on lower front panel of the module by hand or 

screwdriver, to release the module from the chassis. 

3.  Pull the module slightly to unseat the connector. 
4.  Hold the module and gently remove it from the chassis.

 

Note: Do not use the mounting screws as a handle when removing the module. 
Follow the steps as shown in the following illustration.
