resolution The fineness with which a scanner, printer, or other device
produces information. It is expressed in dots per inch (dpi) . In scanning,
a higher dpi produces a sharper image.
style See zone style .
style set A setting that comprises a group of zone styles.
text file A file containing information in text-only format. Its characters

formatting as closely as possible during OCR.
zone contents A setting that specifies the text characters OmniPage Pro
will look for within zones during OCR.
zone style A setting that comprises formatting elements (such as fonts,
margins, and spacing) that can be assigned to a particular zone.
zone template A collection of zone attributes including shape, position,
order, style, type, and contents, that are saved to a file. Zone templates
are useful for documents with the same zoning requirements.
zone type A setting that identifies how OmniPage Pro will treat a
particular zone.
zones Borders that enclose areas on a page image to identify which
parts of the page get processed. Any areas not enclosed by zones are
ignored during OCR. Zoning is the process of creating zones.
