Virtual machine
On Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Server, a machine (p. 215) is considered virtual if it
can be backed up from the virtualization host without installing an agent (p. 207) on the machine. A
virtual machine appears on the management server after registration of the virtualization server that
hosts the machine, provided that Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 agent for virtual machines is installed
on that server.
