Chapter 2. Initialization Tasks
Common Operations
Most objects allow the following operations:
• New — Click this button to create a new instance of the object.
• Open — Click this button to view information about an object instance. Fields on

Note: Always use the GUI’s interface buttons to navigate. With some browsers (e.g.,
Internet Explorer) using the browser’s navigation buttons will result in being sent to
the bottom of the window:
