To make sure that the drive is recognized by the computer, follow these
steps to check the system properties.

1.   Right-click My Computer icon on your desktop.

2.   On the pop-up menu, click Properties.

3.   Click the Device Manager tab on the system properties dialog box.

4.   Click the name of the optical drive from the list to display the device

that you installed.
