A few notes about digital audio preparation. In this manual we have addressed the use of
MP3, WAV, WMA and CD audio files for mixing and playback. The PRO MIX will also work on
WAV files and directly from audio compact discs. The MP3 file format is a widely accepted
digital audio file that produces great sound quality at reduced file size. With today’s technolo-
gy it is now possible to have fast access to all your music and take it with you in a digital for-
mat. 

The PRO MIX software does not include MP3 ripping capabilities. Third party software must
be used to rip CD, WAV and other file formats to MP3.
