You can adjust the contrast using the 

menu; however, 

Avaya recommends that you use the 

 menu.

If an Expansion Module is attached to your Avaya 1230 IP 

Deskphone, changes that you make to the LCD screen contrast of the 

Avaya 1230 IP Deskphone also apply to the display screen contrast 

configuration of the Expansion Module.

Use the following procedure to adjust the display screen contrast.
