4.1.4 Print head seam stripe adjustment (S750)
Print head seam stripe adjustment is done to determine the degree of reduced dot
printing in the high-duty image area (indicated by the arrows) comprising the seam
(stripe) created between vertical bi-directional passes.
After CMY printing by the first pass, CMY is printed again in the same way in the
second pass. In the case of color printing, there are two feed methods for one pass: 64
and 128. Pattern G was made with 64 nozzles, and pattern H was made with 128
nozzles.
When you execute printing with the printer driver, seven vertical patterns with a
varying degree of reduced dot printing (indicated by the arrows) will be printed.
Select the number of the pattern with the least noticeable seam stripe. This sets the
optimum degree of reduced dot printing.
