Subject:
The cooling fan is noisy.
Symptom:
The customer complains the cooling fan is too noisy.
Solution:
Lower the voltage to the Cooling Fan.
Apply the following modification to the Regulator Unit (1U-3201-1):
1) Remove the Jumper-wire JV23 from the P.W.B. and replace it with an 82Ω,
1W resistor.
2) Replace diode ZD901 (MTZ12A) with an MTZJ9.1CT77 style diode.
