This TV model features the “V-Chip technology” which allows you to use U.S. TV PROGRAMS Guide ratings to block
various types of TV programs. PIP will also be blocked automatically.

In U.S. TV PROGRAMS press to highlight
STATUS.
Press to display U.S. TV PROGRAMS RATING
CHART.

Proceed to the following adjustments.

Press to select U.S. TV PROGRAMS.

Press to select U.S. TV PROGRAMS ON or OFF.

Press to select VIEW NR PROGRAMS?.

Press to select VIEW NR PROGRAMS? YES or NO.

NO

YES

YES: NR  programs will be received.
NO:

NR  programs will be blocked.

Press to select SETTING.

Press to select BASIC or DETAILED.

BASIC:

Allows you to select only general ratings
such as TV-Y, TV-PG, etc.

DETAILED: Allows you to select both general ratings

and content such as V, L, etc.

Note: See Customer Caution.

Press to move between different ratings.

Press to select ratings you would like to block (RED)
and unblock (GREEN).

Perform Step 4 for each rating.
