8 Route the antenna cord so it will not be stepped on or be pinched by the door, etc., then fasten it with

clamps.

1. Pull the antenna cord through

the clearance in the trunk lid
into the interior of the car.

2. Route the cord through the

watertight rubber, and stick
the watertight rubber to the
trunk lid at a point where the
weather strip on the body
comes in contact with the
trunk lid.

3. When the cord is inside, fas-

ten it to the car body with
clamps.

To install the tuner unit under the front
seat beside the driver’s seat
