Panasonic's displays for hotel and resort hospitality have 
multi-function slots that let you change connection terminals at 
any time. Simply choose the terminal boards that match the 
image sources you want, and combine them as desired.

Ir Through Terminal Board
For flexible installation
Easy equipment connection without harming 
system appearance.
There is no more need to add on an additional 
IR receiver. Using the Ir Through Terminal Board 
(TY-FB9RT), an STB, DVD player, speakers, or 
other devices can be operated through the remote 
control receiver on the display itself. Devices such 
as set top box that are concealed inside a cabinet 
can be operated easily and comfortably. 
This system is effective for Panasonic AV 
equipment only.
Hotel Mode
Lets you set a number of functions that are convenient for use in hotel 
guest rooms.
AV Terminal Box

For easy maintenance
Guests can connect their own video camera, PC, or other 
AV device to the display for easy large-screen viewing.
Set-up Loader
For easy set-up (cloning)
Channel and other settings can be easily copied from one display to 
another. This saves a lot of work when installing a number of displays at 
the same time.
*A Tuner Board (TY-FB9TE ) is required to use the Set-up Loader.

Multi-Function Slots
Panasonic plasma display models are shipped from the factory with all multi-function 
slots empty. You can mount up to three optional terminal boards in these slots.

• Initial INPUT 
Used when you want to display a certain source each time 
 
the power is turned on.
• INPUT Lock 
Used to limit the input source.
• Initial POS* 
Used when you want to display a certain TV channel each time 
 
the power is turned on.
• Channel Lock* 
Used to limit the TV channel positions.
• Initial VOL level 
Sets the sound volume when the power is first turned on.
• Maximum VOL level 
Limits the amount that the user can increase the sound volume.
• Button Lock 
Prohibits the use of certain control buttons on the display unit.
• Remocon User Level 
Prohibits the use of certain control buttons on the 
 
remote control unit.
• Initial Power Mode 
The display's initial power supply condition when power is 
 
restored after a power interruption can be selected from the 
 
three types.
• ES Timer* 
Turns the power off when the display has not been operated for a 
 
preset length of time (from 1 to 15 hours).
• Sleep* 
Turns the power off when there is no signal being input and 
 
the display has not been operated for 10 minutes.
