CD Changer/Recorder Operations
Playing disc
a disc is loaded in the disc tray
the current selected disc tray is empty
the current selected disc tray is loaded
the disc tray is currently playing
To start playback

Press 
CD 1•2•3 repeatedly to select a desired
disc tray or 
CDR.

PressÉÅ .
➜ “
CD1 (2, 3) or CDR”, track number and
elapsed playing time of the current track are
displayed.
➜ For CD changer, all the available discs will play
once, then stop.
To play the selected disc only
(CD changer only)
● Press one of the CD DIRECT 1/2/3 buttons
on the remote control.
➜ The selected disc will play once, then stop.
To interrupt playback
● PressÉÅ .
➜ The current track time flashes.
● To resume playback, press ÉÅ again.
To stop playback
● Press Ç.
Selecting a desired album/track/
passage
To search for a particular passage during
playback
● Press and hold à or á and release it when
the desired passage is located.
➜ During searching, the volume will be reduced.
To select a desired track
● Adjust JOG CONTROL (or pressí or ë
on the remote control) until the track number is
displayed.
To skip to the beginning of the current
track during playback
● Adjust JOG CONTROL anti-clockwise
(or pressí on the remote control).
Note:
– In Shuffle mode, pressing
í will cause the
player to skip only to the beginning of the current
track.
For MP3-CD only
To select a desired album
● In stop mode, adjust JOG CONTROL (or
pressí or ë on the remote control) until the
album number is displayed.
ALBUM
 is shown and the album name is
scrolled.
To select a desired track

Press 
YES to enter the current album.

Adjust 
JOG CONTROL (or pressí or ë
on the remote control) to select a desired track
number.
TRACK
 is shown and the track number is
scrolled.
Replacing disc during playback
(CD changer only)
You are able to replace or load in disc into the
other two disc trays without interrupting current
playback.
● While playback, press the CD OPEN•CLOSE
button of the inactive disc tray (refer to “Loading
Discs”).
● If you press CD OPEN•CLOSE button of the
active disc tray, the disc will stop playing and the
disc tray will slide out.
➜ Once the disc tray is opened, it will be
deselected.
