FUNCTION FOR RECEIVE

The dial lock function prevents changes by accidental
movement of the tuning dial. The lock function elec-
tronically locks the dial.

➥Push 

to toggle the dial lock func-

tion ON and OFF.

• The 

indicator lights when the dial lock function

is in use.

[LOCK/SPEECH] switch

The noise reduction function reduces noise compo-
nents and picks out desired signals which are buried
in noise. The received signals are converted to digital
signals and then the desired signals are separated
from the noise.

switch to turn the noise reduction

ON.
