This feature moves the picture around the screen in small amounts, at set intervals, to

reduce persistence. This is where stationary objects, such as screen logos, leave a slight image

visible after they should have disappeared.

To return to normal TV operation, press the TV button on your handset.

Press the MENU button to obtain

MAIN MENU.

Press the cursor DOWN button to

select FEATURES.

Once highlighted, accept selection.

Press the cursor DOWN button to select SCREEN SAVER.

Once highlighted, use LEFT/RIGHT buttons to adjust the options i.e. 1,

2, or 3 :-

OPTION 1 = 20 minutes

OPTION 2 = 40 minutes

OPTION 3 = 60 minutes 

This feature is used to remove any persistence that can occur with stationary pictures. To operate this facility please see

below.

Enter the FEATURES menu as above. Press the cursor DOWN

button to select SCREEN WIPE.

Once highlighted, press OK to activate SCREEN WIPE.

To return to normal TV operation, press the TV button on your handset.

If your TV signal is lost for more than approx. 20 seconds, your screen will automatically switch into ‘Power Saving’ mode.

The LED’s on the front of the plasma screen and the AVC unit will both turn yellow. The picture will reappear immediately a

signal is received.
