8.1 Create your first slide show
Please note that when you create a Video CD, Super Video CD or a slideshow, the
image files they contain (e.g. .jpg, .bmp, .gif, usw) will not be stored in their orginal
format but as ".dat" files. This means that the images will no longer exist in their
original format and that you will not be able to change or view them with an image
editor program. If you want to save your images in their original format, then use
Nero to either create a data CD or data DVD, or else a Video CD or Super Video
CD. Then select the option that lets you create an additional directory, where
images should be stored in their original format. You will find detailed information
on this in the Nero manual.
