Confirm that the SCSI host adapter is installed in your PC
correctly.

Click Start and select Settings, then click Control Panel.

Double-click the 

icon from the Control Panel.

Click Device Manager tab.

If the SCSI host adapter does not exist or displayed with the
exclamation mark !, SCSI driver is not installed correctly. Reinstall
the SCSI driver (refer to SCSI host adapter users manual).

If the SCSI driver is installed correctly, confirm that the printer
and/or the scanner is recognized by PC using SCSI utility in EZ-
SCSI program or Show Configuration in KX-PS8000 Utilities
program.

If the printer and/or the scanner are not recognized, refer to the
KX-PS8000 Operating Instructions manual and recheck the SCSI
ID or terminator settings.
