Effective November 30, 2001, the Cisco will discontinue sales of the Network Port Modules supported on

the Cisco 4000-M, 4500/4500-M and 4700/4700-M routers. This follows the End-of-Sales (EoS) of the Cisco

4500-M and 4700-M routers that occurred in November, 2000.

The complete list of Network Port Modules affected by this End-of-Life (EoL) announcement is included in

Table 1 below. Cisco 4x00 Series Network Port Modules product names and suggested replacement interfaces

for Cisco 3600 and 7200 Series platforms are also noted below.
