announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the Cisco Digital
Modem Network Modules. The last day to order the Cisco Digital Modem Network
Modules is March 16, 2007. Customers with active service contracts will continue to
receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as shown in Table 1
of this EoL bulletin. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for
the Cisco Digital Modem Network Modules. Table 2 lists the product part numbers
affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Digital Modem PVDM Modules for the Cisco 2800
and 3800 Series Integrated Services Routers. The Digital Modem PVDM Modules provide the
Cisco 2800 Series with low-density digital dial access, and provide the Cisco 3800 Series with a
higher-density digital dial platform. Information about the replacement product can be found at:

Table 3 provides relevant information for migrating from the Cisco Digital Modem Network Modules
to the Digital Modem PVDM Modules.
