Preparing the Camera for Use

Attaching the wrist strap

Feed the wrist strap, as shown in the diagram, into the
aperture on the « Wrist Strap Attachment » on the right
side of the camera with the rear of the camera pointing
towards you (see Section 4 / Point 4)

Inserting the batteries

The procedure for installing the batteries described below is identical whether you are using Alkaline batteries,
type LR03 UM4 AAA 1.5 volts, or rechargeable batteries, type NiMh, 600 mA.

Open the compartment on the bottom of the camera by sliding off the
cover with your thumb.

Insert 2 batteries - 2 new alkaline brand or rechargeable batteries
and respect the + or – polarity as indicated on the inside and outside of
