In order to invoke the utility via the Task Bar: 

Double click the utility icon in the notification area of the task bar. The  
Configuration Utility RT2500 Dialog Box will appear. 

 

 

The icon’s color represents the Adapter’s signal strength or status. 

 

Signal strength is good. 

 

Signal strength is normal. 

 

Signal strength is week. 

 

No wireless connection. 

 

The Adapter is disable or unplugged.
