mediaCTRL Center Documentation
Copyright AwoX 2004
We recommend that you make sure your PC is up-to-date by running Windows Update
before continuing. In some cases, mediaCTRL Center cannot be used if you skip this
step. To do this, please visit
 and get the latest updates
for your computer operating system. The most important thing is to make sure you
have the latest drivers for your video card; the latest DirectX 9 version needed by
mediaCTRL Center will be installed from the mediaCTRL Center installation
CDROM. Also, for output quality reasons, we recommend setting your video card
color depth to 32 bits per pixel.
mediaCTRL Center uses the installed audio/video codecs installed on your PC. medi-
aCTRL Center will handle the media files for which a suitable codec has been
installed; a new format may require installing the appropriate codec. The general rule
is that mediaCTRL Center will be able to render any file that can be opened with a
mouse click. Installing Windows Media Player brings common codecs to your com-
puter.
