This signal is multiplexed: 

RED: 

Logic Red LED Signal (see

as input for approximately 500ms 

at startup. 

Mode: 

The level on this pin during power 

up selects RS232 (High) or logic 

(Low) level UART-communication.  

The Mode pin is only valid during 

the first 500ms after startup and 

cannot be changed during 

operation.  

The Mode pin is internally pulled 

up i.e. RS232 mode is the default 

setting. Recommended value of 

the pull-down resistor is 1 k

Ω.
