5. The Wireless Assistant screen displays. You are now connected to your wireless network. 

Click Close to exist the Wireless Assistant.

The WNDA3100v2 icon 

 appears in the system tray. You can click it to access the Wireless 

Assistant if you want to make any changes or connect to a different wireless network. The wizard 
initiates your wireless connection, which could take up to a minute. 

The Status Bar at the bottom of the Settings tab of the Wireless Assistant displays important details 
about your wireless connection. See 

The WNDA3100v2 has indicators in three locations that show the status of your connection to a 
wireless network and to the Internet:

•

WNDA3100v2 icon. After you install the WNDA3100v2 software, the 

 icon appears on 

the desktop and in the right on the Windows task bar. It is color coded to show the status of the 
connection.

Wireless Assistant status bar. Clicking on the system tray icon opens the Wireless Assistant. 
The status bar at the bottom of the screen shows details about your wireless and Internet 
connection. See

Adapter LED status lights. The LED on the wireless USB adapter shows the network 
connection. Solid indicates a connection. The LED blinks when the wireless USB adapter is 
looking for a network association and when it is sending or receiving data. See
