Volume & Sounds 

You can set the volume control and select sounds to use. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To adjust volume and to set sounds: 

1.  Select Start > Settings > Control Panel. 
2.  Open the Volume & Sounds and select the Volume tab. 
3.  Adjust volume by tapping the left and right arrows or by 

dragging the slider bar. 

4.  Select each check box you want to enable sounds for: 

events (warning, system events), applications, and 
notifications (alarms, reminder). 

5.  Select each check box you want to enable sounds for: 

buttons. Tap the soft or loud arrow to adjust volume. 

6.  Select each check box to enable sounds for the Stylus and to 

decide soft or loud sound. 

 

To change event sounds: 

1.  Select Start > Settings > Control Panel. 
2.  Open the Volume & Sounds icon, and then select the Sound 

tab. 

3.  From the Event list, select an event. 
4.  From the Event sound list, select a sound. You can check it 

with the preview button.
