WRE6505 v2 User’s Guide

In Access Point (AP) mode your WRE6505 v2 bridges a wired network (LAN) and wireless LAN 
(WLAN) in the same subnet. See the figure below for an example.

• Use  the  St at us screen (

) to view read-only information about your 

WRE6505 v2.

• Use  the  LAN  screen (

) to set the IP address for your WRE6505 v2 acting 

as an access point.

• Use  the  W ireless LAN  screens (

) to configure the wireless settings and 

wireless security between the wireless clients and the WRE6505 v2.
