Setting the Auto Logout Minutes
You can specify the maximum time the system can remain idle before the configuration menus close and the
Login menu reappears. This feature ensures that the configuration menus close if a user forgets to exit.

Note: When the menus automatically timeout, the system may appear to be frozen. Press

to view the
Login menu, where you can login to the Main Menu.

To set the automatic logout timeout period
1.
From the Main Menu, select System Security and press
Enter
. The System Security menu is
displayed.
2.
Select Auto Logout Minutes and press
Enter
. The data field highlights.
3.
Type the maximum idle time period in minutes that can pass before the configuration menus close.
4.
Press
Enter
. The new value appears in the field.
5.
Press
Esc
to exit to the Main Menu.
