Your radio is preprogrammed to reset to medium 
volume rate, which is Level 12, by default whenever the 
radio powers up. 

If you experience hearing discomfort, ringing 
in your ears, or muffled speech, you should 

stop listening to the radio through your 

headset or earpiece and have your hearing 

checked by your doctor.

The radio casting 
has a vent port 

that allows for 

pressure 

equalization in the 

radio. Never poke 

this vent with any 

objects, such as 

needles, tweezers, 

or screwdrivers. 

This could create 

leak paths into the 

radio and the 

radio’s 

submergibility will 

be lost.
