Antenna Selection
The selection of the antenna is critical to system performance. The selected antenna must be
50 ohm impedance and capable of at least 50 watts. Gain antennas may be used to increase system

Frequency Stability
The 800/900 MHz repeaters are equipped with a high-stability, 0.1 ppm OCXO (oven controlled
crystal oscillator). This oscillator requires approximately 10 minutes of warm-up time (worst case
scenario) to meet the frequency stability requirements of the 900 MHz band.
