Close the black cartridge lid.

Remove the tape from the color print cartridge, and insert the cartridge in the right carrier.

Close the color cartridge carrier lid.

Close the cartridge access door.

Close the control panel until it snaps into place.

The control panel display will prompt you to load paper and press   to print an alignment page.

Note: The control panel must be closed to start a new scan, print, copy, or fax job.
