The V-1422 Signature Series High Fidelity Lay-in Ceiling Speaker shall consist of a white two foot by two foot perforated
grille, a speaker and integral backbox. The volume control is accessible through the perforated grille.
The woofer for the V-1422 shall be 8" (20.32 cm) in diameter and have a 10 ounce (284 g) ceramic magnet. The tweeter
for the V-1422 shall be 3" (7.62cm) in diameter and have a 3 ounce (85 g) ceramic magnet. Operating temperature shall
be +32 to +122 °F (0 to +50 °C).
The Model V-1422 shall include an amplifier assembly and volume control. The amplifier shall operate on a -24Vdc
nominal, positive ground power supply. Operating current shall be 200mA at -24 Vdc.
The baffle shall be constructed with a single piece of perforated steel with a white baked on acrylic enamel finish.
The backbox meets or exceeds A.S.T.M. E84 flame and smoke test and has a three hour burn rating (UL181). Four
seismic tabs provided for additional mounting integrity.
Maximum dimensions of the grill shall be: 23.75 "Lx 23.75 "W x 3.75 "D (60.325 cm x 60.33 cm x 9.525 cm). Weight shall
be approximately 5.5 lbs (2.49 kg).

Valcom, Inc. warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under conditions of nor-mal use
and service for a period of one year from the date of shipment. The obligation under this warranty shall be limited to the
re-placement, repair or refund of any such defective device within the warranty period, provided that:
