Canon’s Bubble Jet Printer i6500 delivers

outstanding quality on media up to A3+ coupled

with remarkable speed. It uses Canon’s now

standard advanced MicroFine Droplet Technology™

to ensure brilliant, high-contrast prints with the

broadest colour range. By combining this

technology with 5 pl permanent droplet size, it can

print at resolutions of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi*. 

The result is greater definition, higher contrast and

broader colour range. It means that graininess is

reduced to a minimum — even on plain paper.

FAST

The i6500 delivers up to 17 pages per minute

monochrome and up to 12 pages per minute in

colour, making it the fastest A3 inkjet out-of-the-

box printer in monochrome. It will turn out a 

full-colour A4 in 100 seconds at default settings.

This high speed is the result of one-pass, 

bi-directional printing. It also uses an independent

5-motor drive system with individual motors for

line feed, carriage movement, auto sheet feeder,

maintenance and paper discharge.

BORDERLESS

This machine prints full-bleed photos on 4” x 6”,

5” x 7”, A4, A3, and A3+ media. Using an

optional PostScript RIP solution, graphic artists

can make accurate contract quality proofs.

ADVANCED IMAGING FEATURES

The Bubble Jet i6500 includes the Easy-

PhotoPrint application with Exif Print. This makes

use of camera settings to produce better, more

faithful images. Advanced driver features such

as Photo Noise Reduction are also included. 

This function eliminates noise in digital camera

images to create natural-looking images. Vivid

Photo allows the printer to produce colours that

your monitor cannot display so you get your

images with more realistic colours.

CONNECTIVITY

The Bubble Jet i6500 has USB and parallel

interfaces and is compatible with Windows

95/98/Me/NT 4.0/2000/XP and Mac OS 8.6 -

9.x/Mac OS X. The printer can also be shared

in a network with the simple addition of an

optional adapter.

SINGLE INK TECHNOLOGY

The i6500 uses Single Ink technology with

detection system to prevent wasted paper.
