The Plextor M6M is a high-performance mSATA 6 Gb/s SSD specifically engineered to give ultrabook, tablet PC, and
other JEDEC MO-300 form factor users the speed and low power consumption benefits of the newest generation SSD
technology. The M6M features the latest generation Marvell 88SS9188, delivering market-leading mSATA speeds with a
maximum sequential read/write speed of 520MB/s, and write speed of 440MB/s**, and random read/write speeds of 94K
IOPS/ 80K IOPS***. With True Speed technology the M6M ensures real-world performance benefits over the long term
and avoids performance slow down.
Perfectly complementing the M6M’s high speed is its high energy efficiency, support for the DEVSLP standard and
power consumption of 2 mW in DEVSLP state. The drive is designed to resume from DEVSLP state in just 100ms
allowing your computer to maximize battery life and remain responsive.
Also featured is Plextor’s exclusive True Protect double-data protection technology providing automatic multilayer data
integrity checking for long-term data accuracy and highly-secure 256-bit AES full disk encryption for data confidentiality.
The M6M has a calculated 1.5 million hours MTBF having undergone extensive testing during development in
state-of-the-art testing facilities. Having passed Plextor’s strict enterprise-grade Zero Error standard of 400 units
surviving 500 hours of the toughest continuous testing without a single error or failure, the SSD is extremely reliable.
The caseless Plextor M6M is only an eighth of the size of the standard 2.5 inch SSD drive and provides uncompromising
performance making it an ideal upgrade for users wanting to maximize the overall speed and battery life of ultraportable
