Functions
The Bosch Carephone 10 has been developed with ease of
use in mind. Through removable button covers, the unit
can be equipped as a one, two or three button device.
This simplifies user operation if no activity monitoring or
service option is programmed for particular buttons and
provides the user with maximum confidence.
The system is designed for minimal installation time. The
carephone can be installed and programmed to the needs
of the user in a matter of minutes. Customized low-cost
applications can be designed with the expansion of the
system via cordless accessories providing the end-users
the best solution for their particular needs.
After an alarm is initiated, a speech connection is
established automatically with a monitoring center
manned 24 hours a day. The built-in two-way speech
function enables the end-user to easily and confidently
communicate his needs and provides the staff in the
monitoring center a high quality reliable communication to
the end-user.
The carephone and the wireless transmitter are both fully
supervised. In the event of empty batteries or power
failure, the monitoring center or appropriate staff is
informed automatically. A built-in storage battery allows
the unit to operate without power for at least 72 hours.
