Care Solutions | Tx Transmitter

The Tx Transmitter is designed to trigger alarms, such as
emergency calls, with the touch of a button. These alarms
are sent to a Carephone which handles them accordingly.

The alarm signal is sent by radio to a Carephone and from
there it is forwarded via the telephone network to a
receiver. This receiver can be a monitoring center or a
private telephone. Incoming telephone calls can also be
accepted and terminated by pressing the button of the Tx
Transmitter.
The Tx Transmitter distinguishes itself with its small,
lightweight, and robust construction. The large, easy-to-
press button guarantees quick and secure triggering. The
housing is waterproof, so the transmitter can be worn
anytime at home. The LED on the top of the housing
works as an optical indicator when an alarm is triggered
and announces when the battery power has reached a
predetermined value. The battery can be changed by a
social alarm service provider.
The radio link between the Tx Transmitter and the
Carephone is monitored automatically and interferences
are reported to the Carephone.

The Tx Transmitter is available with the radio frequency
reserved in Europe exclusively for social alarm calls: 869
MHz. Additional variants are also offered for many
installed Bosch end-user devices.
The Tx Transmitter can be worn in three ways:

as a medallion with an adjustable necklace and

strangulation protection (safety lock)

•

on the wrist with a flexible wristband

•

clipped to clothing
