In order to use the I/E Port to import and export cartridges, it must first be 

“enabled.” See

To load cartridges through the I/E port:

Affix the bar code labels as described in

Press the I/E Port lock button. The unlock icon flashes (

) while the library 

initiates the unlock.

Once the library unlocks the door (the unlock icon remains illuminated  ), 

open it by pulling the door latch toward you. Slide the drawer out to the 

end of travel. Swing the handle down and out of the way.

Load the cartridge into the slot with the bar code label facing to the left.
