HDMI splitter 1x
Item no. 41 91 54
Connection and Getting Started
•   Connect the two HDMI outputs (“HDMI OUTPUT 1” or “HDMI OUTPUT 2”) to your monitors/
televisions with suitable HDMI-compatible cables.
•   Connect the HDMI input (“HDMI INPUT”) to the corresponding output of, e.g. a Bluray player,
game console, etc.
•  Connect the low voltage round plug from the enclosed wall plug transformer to the corre-
sponding socket on the splitter.
•  Connect the wall plug transformer to a mains socket. The red power LED next to the low-
voltage socket lights up.
The splitter is operational; now, the signal supplied at the HDMI input is available at both HDMI
outputs.
•   The corresponding LED next to the HDMI sockets lights up if the device connected there is
switched on and operational.
Handling
•   Use is permitted only in dry indoor locations. The product must not get damp or wet! There is
a life-threatening hazard through an electric shock!
•   Never use the product soon after taking it from a cold room to a warm one. The condensation
that forms might damage the product under certain circumstances. The wall plug transformer
also poses a risk for a potentially fatal electric shock!
Allow the product to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power supply and
putting it to use. This may take several hours.
•   Avoid the following adverse conditions at the installation location and during transport:
  -  Excessive humidity or dampness
  -  Extreme cold or heat, direct sunlight
 - Dust or fl ammable gases, fumes or solvents
  -  Strong vibrations, impacts or blows
 - Strong magnetic fi elds such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or loudspeakers
•  Any maintenance or repair work may only be performed by an authorised repair shop.
•   When setting up the product, make sure that the cable is neither kinked nor pinched.
Cleaning
Prior to cleaning the device, pull the wall plug transformer out of the mains socket.
Use a clean, dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, as these can
cause discolouration. Do not press too strongly on the surface when cleaning, to prevent scratch
marks.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic devices must not be disposed of as domestic waste!

Please dispose of the product when it is no longer of use according to current statu-
tory requirements.

Safety Instructions

The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any resulting dam-
age!

We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such
cases, the warranty will be null and void.
•   The unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not permitted for safety and
approval reasons (CE). Never dismantle the product.
•   The product is not a toy. Devices operated using mains voltage must be kept out of the reach
of children. Therefore, be especially careful when children are around.
Use the product where it is out of the reach of children.
•   The product is intended for use only in dry, indoor locations. No part of the product should
become damp or wet; never handle it if your hands are wet!
Wall plug transformers have the potential to cause a fatal electric shock!
•   The design of the wall plug transformer complies with Protection Class II. Use only a standard
mains socket as the power source for the wall plug transformer.
The mains socket into which the wall plug transformer is plugged must be easily accessible.
•   Use only the external wall plug transformer supplied to power the splitter.
•   Do not pull the wall plug transformer from the mains socket by pulling on the cable. Hold it on
the sides of the casing and pull it out of the mains socket.
•  If the wall plug transformer is damaged, do not touch it; there is a life-threatening electric
shock hazard!
First, switch off the mains voltage to the socket to which the wall plug transformer is connected
(switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse or switch off at the
corresponding RCD protective switch, so that the socket is fully disconnected).
You can then unplug the wall plug transformer from the mains socket. Dispose of the faulty
wall plug transformer in an environmentally friendly way, do not use it any more. Replace it
with a wall plug transformer of the same design.
•   Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a dangerous
plaything for children.
