4. Safety Information
In case of damage caused by failure to observe these operating instructions, the guarantee 
will expire. We do not assume any liability for consequential damage!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper use 
or failure to observe the safety instructions. Any guarantee expires in these cases!
Dear Customer: the following safety instructions are intended not only for the protection of the device but 
also for the protection of your health. Please read the following points carefully:
•   The unauthorized conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is inadmissible for safety and approval rea-
sons (CE).
•   All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this device must be qualifi ed appropri-
ately and observe these operating instructions. 
•   The mains adapter corresponds to to protection class II. Only a proper mains socket (230V~ / 50Hz) of the 
public mains supply may be used as a power source. 
•  Use only the mains adapter included in delivery to power the mixer.
•   The device must be set up correctly. Please follow these operating instructions.
•   Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or put under mechanical 
stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable from extreme heat or cold. Do not modify the mains 
cable. Otherwise the mains cable may be damaged. A damaged mains cable can cause a deadly electric 
shock.
•   If the mains adapter or mains cable is damaged, do not touch it. First, power down the respective mains 
socket (e.g. via the associated circuit breaker) and then pull the mains plug out of the mains socket carefully. 
Disconnect the mains adapter from the device. Never use the product if the mains adapter or mains cable is 
damaged.
•   This product is not a toy, and not suitable for children. Children cannot judge the dangers involved when 
handling electrical devices.
•  Keep the product away from pets!
•   Never pour any liquids over electrical devices or put objects fi lled with liquid on top of them (e. g. vases). 
Never place any small objects, e.g. coins, paper clips etc., on the device as these may fall into the device. 
There is great danger of fi re or potentially fatal electrical shock. If liquid or an object enters the interior of the 
device nevertheless, fi rst power down the respective socket (e.g. switch off circuit breaker) and then pull the 
mains plug from the socket. Disconnect all cables from the device. After that, the product must no longer be 
used; take it to a specialist workshop.
•  Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
•   Make sure the device is suffi ciently ventilated when in operation. Never cover the device with magazines, cur-
tains, etc. Never place the device on a soft surface such as, for example, a carpet or a bed, etc. This prevents 
heat dissipation from the device and can lead to overheating.
 
Do not expose the device to any high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong 
vibrations, excess humidity, moisture, high dust concentration, easily fl ammable  gases, 
vapours or solvents!
