Configuring the Library
After you have installed the hardware described in the previous chapters, you are ready to configure
your library settings. A Setup Wizard helps you get started configuring your library, and the menu
commands on both the front panel interface (FPI) and the remote management interface (RMI) allow
you to re-configure your library at any time.

About the Setup Wizard
When you first power on the library, the front panel interface (FPI) displays the Setup Wizard, which

Using the Default Administrative User Account (Administrator)
When you power on the library for the first time, it is not necessary to log in to use the front panel
interface (FPI). You can start using the Setup Wizard immediately. When the library is powered ON
for the first time, the password protection to the FPI is disabled. As long as there is no FPI password
enabled, regardless of how many times the system is re-started, the library will have this “free
access”.

possible to access the library remotely without entering a password. The library ships with a default
