MINUTE (0...59)
SECOND (0...59)
Please observe the fact that the internal clock continues to run during access. The
second value should therefore always be read first. If it shows 59 it is necessary that
after reading the last interesting time information (e.g. HOUR) the second value is
read again and test for =O. In this case, the real-time clock has to be read again as a
new minute has been started.
Further-reaching time information is not available in the C-control MICRO but can if
necessary be generated by means of a small sub-program-
EXACTITUDE:
The RTC of the C-CONTROL MICRO is fed from a free-running oscillator which in
principle cannot fulfil the demands on a precise clock. The manufacturer states
exactitude of 25 %. So that the RTC remains usable nevertheless, you have the pos-
sibility of calibrating the clock’s cycle.
The tool CLOCK_CHECK.BAS will help you in calibrating and will also give you fur-
ther tips.
FREQ2=value
writes a correction factor into the operating system which corrects the system cycle
by 0.2% per digit (starting from the default value 128 after RESET). This allows the
cycle to be set to an exactitude of 0.2% which corresponds to an error in the RTC of
170s/24h.
The content of FREQ2 cannot be read and an instruction such as for example
a=FREQ2
leads to uncontrollable erroneous behaviour as the corresponding TOKEN of INTER-
PRETER of the MICRO is not recognised.

are variables which are reserved for the operating system but may not be used for
MICRO.

• 8 BIT A/D-Wandler
• Digitale Ports I/O
• Beep Ports
• Freq. Eingang
• Serielle. Schnittstelle 9600/19200 Baud
• 2kB BASIC-Programmspeicher
• ladbare Systemerweiterungen (z.B.
12V
Achtung!
Das P/E-Board unterstützt 19200 Baud aus technischen Gründen nicht
(Zeitkon-
stanten im Pegelwandler)
