Technology is Texas Instruments’ latest innovation for richer
colours and better images that display vibrantly. At Mitsubishi,
we developed a 6-segment colour wheel. As well as the typical red,
green, blue and white segments, we added yellow and cyan to
display a wider colour spectrum. In addition, we coded our colour algorithms
to emphasise either brightness or colour modes, designed to
match the environment where the XD510U series is being used.
Together with selective lamp powered modulation techniques, the Leo
series with BrilliantColor
TM
technology acts intelligently to boost colours to
improve the intensity and vibrancy of the entire displayed image.
For instance, when projecting an already-bright screen image, the lamp is
programmed to provide brighter, more vivid colours.  In contrast, when the
objective is to display images with an emphasis on genuine colour
reproduction, the algorithm will delivers just the right colors
with the appropriate radiance for maximum visual impact.
